Topic: All you "nice guys" think you have it so bad! | |

![]() ![]() I think that Match is both, you can make a profile for free, and do very limited flirts and things...and if you want to chat or email then you have to pay to do that. The thing is, if you contact someone that does NOT pay, then they cannot contact you back. and if you include your contact info in that email, it is blocked out. I also do not think that Match has any forums or anything like that... I could be wrong... |

Kinda' reminds me of a "fishy" ad on here...touting the fact that they "generate 800,000 relationships a year!" I suppose restraining orders could be considered a "relationship" of sorts...

Check out the World's Biggest Loser. I can't help but laugh my *** off at this guy, and say a great big, "W....T....F???????" ![]() ![]() ![]() Lawsuit claims that dating website Match.com sticks it to hopeful users BY Thomas Zambito DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER Wednesday, June 10th 2009, 2:35 AM A lovelorn Brooklyn man is suing dating service Match.com for being a big tease. A $5 million federal suit filed by Sean McGinn accuses the company of fraud and deception for failing to tell subscribers some of their "matches" aren't active on the site. McGinn, 37, said vulnerable romantics pour out their hearts in e-mails and then are crushed when they don't hear back. "They are left feeling they've been completely ignored and rejected," attorney Norah Hart said. "For some people, it could affect their romantic future." On May 30, subscriber "ajsky65" sent an e-mail to a former female subscriber called "traehi" and was informed that she was online, the lawsuit says. Over several weeks, "traehi" received 33 e-mails and hundreds of so-called "winks" from subscribers but could not access them, the lawsuit claims. "Match misleads paying subscribers by charging them for the ability to write e-mails to members who can't reply to their e-mails or even read them," the lawsuit charges. Hart, who is hoping to turn the suit into a class action, would not say whether McGinn has found true love. IDK, he may have something, but I'm sure Match.com was smart enough to put some sort of disclaimer or something in their UA, if not he might be able to win. |
