Of course. You have very defined opinions about things and you aren't afraid to voice them. There's nothing wrong with that. As long as you're diplomatic to some extent while voicing your opinions and not just being insulting to others in the process, then you've got nothing to worry about.

I mean... I've gotten into discussions with people who've gone on to do nothing but insult me in some way, from my manhood to my ethnicity as a means of trying to win or something. And THAT is simply dirty pool, period.

Well I was having fun today, now everyone seems to be arguing...

Well... the thing that has to be realized is that debates are nothing more than an exchange of ideas and evidence. There's really no winning or losing involved- just that there'll be two or more entities at work to present their case in a way that is more acceptable to the others.

With that said, there'll have to be a point where the interested parties will have to "agree to disagree".
