is there a limit to how many networks it can show? maybe that's it?

I show 14, but my connected one is at the top. I do have to scroll thru to see them all.

just checked mine - still says I am connected to my network and now the list of wireless network connections is down to 6

I was able to scroll earlier when there were 10 or more listed

Have you tried clicking the 'refresh list' on the wireless networks screen?

Hmmm.... well then, because I'm a little bit anal about these things... I'd delete any part of my wireless connection I could and recreate it. But you have a working one... might be best to let it ride.

As long as you are connected to your own network I wouldn't worry.

thanks all - only logical conclusion I came up with was that there were too many on list. says I am connected to my network, I am able to go online, checked router settings, all say I am on my network.

thanks!

As long as you can connect to your own network with no issues, I would just mark it up to a m$ snafu. Sorry can't be of more help, but sometimes it is best to leave well enough alone.

There are millions of lines of code in XP and each line can potentially affect all the others. I would wager no one, not even Billy himself, has read all of them. There are bound to be little minor problems here and there. M$ programmers are also notoriously inefficient and often incompetent programmers.
