 Despite it all, I still in the core of my being have hope that ultimately we can do the right thing and make this world a better place. The best human being that ever lived, Jesus had hope for us and I agree with him.  The Buddha as well. Another man I respect.

I thought the rule was: "If you don't Vote, you can't Bltch."
I can *****.......Simply because the BS affects me....I didn't ask for it, did you? 
Bitchin' is free, and I 'spose anyone can do it, but when people have died for the right to vote...both here and elsewhere...I just kind of feel I owe it to them to at least take advantage of what we have here. Yeah, even if it isn't always what I'd hoped or been led to believe. Its not perfect, but its more than some have got. |

Unless you live in small town, you can't even hope to get elected to the local school board without a good bit of money.

I'm pretty damn happy with our new government. I worked like hell to help make it happen. After 8 years of the idiot Bush it is so refreshing to have a president with his finger on the nuclear trigger that can pronounce the word correctly.
Obama's 2nd term will be the bellweather, as his 1st term will be spent cleaning up The Idiot's mess(es). |

I believe a lot of problems would be eliminated if no one was ever reelected. Serve one term and you're done.
