the maintenance downtime fubared the Marketplace features and as of now you cannot download ANYTHING even the stuff you've already purchased. At this time, it will be at least 4 hours until the issue is resolved (after they called it good as of 12AM PST which was over 7 hours ago lol) I'm not holding my breath.

and they probably block you being able to put your purchases on disc

where is the protection of the consumer

i would be calling them and telling them i want my purchased stuff on hard copy

they have proven to be not stable enough to have access to your material whenever you want it

Received a NBA basketball game for XBox. In the first 10 minutes of playing the game froze. This does this all the time now.

I would understand if a pc game doesn't work for maybe I don't have enough RAM or memory, or the correct graphic card or what have you, but a XBOX game.

One thing it does well is play my movies. So now I use it as a dvd playerlaugh

All the companies seem to do that though. I think if you paid for it, you should be able to do whatever the hell you want with it.

I've had that problem with previous 360s, and it usually means a red ring of death is imminent.

My advice to you is to prepare yourself mentally for the challenging times ahead.
