You might have to go to your add/delete programs menu and remove it from there. I think that's what I had to do.

you know those suites are only like 170 a night each... if you dont go directly to carnival cruises... i saw for 5 days on the carnival site the balcony room would cost 1100 each, however when i looked at the price on travelocity it was like 879 for a suite! big difference.. and the balcony rooms are like 185 sq ft as compared to the suite is like 345 sq ft

if i go im not missing the views from my room, and to sit on to watch the sunset rise or go down on with a big ole drink in my hand! and some food sent from roomservice...im hoping to find a roommate that will split cause i cant get one for myself... but that also wants to share the balcony with others who go..im thinking the balcony room is too small but not the suite!

You know those prices are per person, right? I just don't want there to be any confusion. Balconies can be pretty reasonably priced. But suites tend to be several hundred dollars more per person than the other rooms.

Ok, good, a lot of people think the price they give is the total price and are shocked to find out it's per person, I didn't want that.
Yeah, there can be a huge difference in prices at different places. I'm not only going to look for price but a lot of travel agents, in order to get your business, will throw in freebies like upgrades, room credits, free shore excursions, etc. So, I'm gonna do a little shopping around. One thing I'm definitely going to use, though, that I don't usually is a specific travel agent, someone who I can establish a personal relationship with who can help with problems if any arise. I usually just book on my own and wing it but with a group this size, I think it would be better not to. |

at first when i looked i thought that lol....especially since i looked at the sites of the cruise ships... then i realized it wasnt for 2 lol... it was due to the prices i was seeing on them... but now know its just cause going directly to the cruiseline sites is way more expensive..

It usually is, but with groups, not always, from what I understand. I have a guy at Carnival that I'm going to start out with. I also have a website that I use called cruisecompete.com. You input the cruise you want, and all the other information, and it circulates to numerous travel agents and they give quotes, competing against each other. I got really good (great) deals on my last 2 cruises using that. The first cruise, I saved over $200/person on the quote Carnival gave and over what other agents were offering. Second wasn't quite as good but still got a heck of a deal. |
