Phishing scam, they do it all the time.

They'll do dating sites, banking, ebay, and all sorts of things and try and get you to go to a fake site or a porn sight. Or install spyware or other nasty things.

i have been here for over 2 years and have not had this issue in the past and have not given out this address to anyone all i give my address to get a different address the only place mingle has this address is from when i signed up exactly, but look at it this way, substitute ANY dating site in there. Its just a phishing attempt to get either a password or you to go to some nasty site. So delete and don't worry. |

They use computer programs that come up with every possible letter and number configuration and then send their emails out making you believe that they got it from Mingle. |

If your email addy is the same, or similar to your username here, all they have to do is play around with it a bit.
All my email addies are completely different to my username on various sites and I have no problem whatsoever. |

what happens is they fire emails out to a bunch of random email addresses, all with the same message. And the only ones that worry, are the ones that actually know what the email is referring to. Its kinda like an old war dialer back in the day, it'd call every number and find which phones were modems. Don't worry about it, its nothing at all.

We have not changed our policy on users' email addresses and nobody has hacked into our site, adj4u. If either of these things ever happens, you can bet the house that we would inform all of our customers.
