People have to responsible for themselves - take the blasted test, if in an industry where you are more susceptible to contract disease cover your a$$, protect the lives of others and test yourself more frequently or change careers.

Don't put others lives at risk due to a single persons stupidity.

I think anyone who knowingly transfers HIV/Aids to another should be arrested and tried for attempted murder... this just sucks!!!!!!rant

The new tests that they have for HIV can show infection within 3 months for sure and possibly sooner.

The sex industry is risky because a person may show they are not infected with HIV during that 3 month window. If a person shows a negative test they are probably letting them work and not requiring another test three months after their initial one.

In the sex industry they should probably require these tests ever three months to keep infection lower but I cannot see how they can prevent it completely unless condoms are used and then a condom can break so that would still not be 100%

my dumb question was why was this starlet not tested prior to filming instead of after filming?

Not a dumb question at all. I would have thought it would be a prerequisite because of the nature of the job.

I know condoms are a pain in butt. They do not feel the greatest but I am not having sex like a porn star (dammit lol) and I require them until we can have a mutual test done and wait the required time for another test.

Even the porn stars don't have "porn sex". noway It's very methodical and not so erotic. And this AIDS crap just adds so much sexy, eh??? Not terribly sexy to think about how the do their thing nor thinking about who is going to get a very UNSEXY deadly disease. But, anything to entertain the horny!! Got to earn a living and get people sexied up no matter the cost. ohwell

The think CDC gets notified and they will contact all the former partners to come in for tests.

Right but the day you find out and forever after you are considered a lethal weapon when you don't wear a condom or let your partner know.

Some partners know and still have unprotected sex with them anyway. I think of this as a suicide wish.

Yes but only those which you have admitted to having relations with. Scares me to think regardless of whether intentionally or unintentionally a persons name/info gets omitted - then they are **** outta luck.

I was not saying you had unprotected sex at all, sorry if I came across that way.

I was agreeing with your statement that they should be charged if they are knowingly spreading it.

I don't think they can. first it's patient confidentiality. second...i don't think those tested would willing tell the clinic who the partners are
