I wonder, I question, reality? Distant false hope? Civilization leads along a path of self-destruction and murder, lose/lose situation? Uphill battle, potential struggles? Do we wake, just to sleep, and do the same thing tomorrow?

All over the world people have it far worse than we do, and we complain that the Mcdonald's employee forgot the ketchup on our hamburger, we complain when the coffee is old, we complain when the price of gas jumps up by almost a dollar...while slaves mine the diamond mines in Africa, and children work for a tenth of a cent in Taiwan, as children are sold over the black market in Mexico, all the while in Cambodia 22.9% of children die before the age of five.

This is my land, children will grow up in this land...can we at least attempt to make it a better place in the long-run?

Too many seem to focus on what they don't have and take advantage of what they do have.

If everyone opened their eyes and appreciated what they have before them and did. And made more of and effort to give back to others then our tomorrows would be brighter.

you want parables? the thundering engine from hell, is coming to breakfast! there's a time limit. if it's all on my shoulders, fine. intend to de-rail this sucker. it's only gonna get worse as time goes by like fear and loathing said. what are YOUR ideas to apply to fix this...Right frigging now! what would YOU do to change the course of history as we know it? you heard what i'm doing. is it up entirely to me to dismantle this engine? to de-rail it? then....it probably is! but there's at least 20 that are behind me now...and i'm full steam ahead....
