This isnt about the right to kill ourselves, its about whether we have a right to kill those around us. jimmy...you are awfully cranky for something that doesn't effect you. why are you so riled up???? Rose, Rose, Rose. Despite the arguing(debating?), you still make me laugh. Kat...like I keep saying...we are adults...we know the risks...you don't have to post them..it has been made VERY clear for a long time now. But I'm and adult and I don't need to be treated as a child for doing something legal. Do you smoke around your child?? Do you bath and wash your clothes before have contact with them after smoking? The toxins from cigarettes don't evaporate into thin air. Thomas; no...I do not smoke around them anymore. Thay are grown, but still do not. I wish I had treated my kids as well as I do my grandkids. But I was dumb about these things then. And "yes" I do actually. When I know my babies are coming to see me...I shower and put on clean clothes that have left in the dryer til time to dress for them. I will NOT SMoKE BEFORE THEY COME DOWN. They never come into the house because I don't want them to, and I always wash my face again and my arms as well as hands. When they get here...I am clean as I can possibly be for them. I brush my teeth over and over (I know it doesn't help", but I try. My kids would back my up on this is they were here. My mom gets mad at me cause I gripe at her not to smoke in the house before they come down, because I don't want it on me. We always go somewhere else to visit. So yes...I do practice what I preach. Now, if I could just quit for good. Kat |

Now, if I could just quit for good. Kat Good for you. The extended family I grew up in had no concern for such things. Quitting is a good thing to do, but not so easy from what I hear. I have never smoked, I have been told I have an allergy to tobacco, but that was long time ago and I now have reason to doubt many thing I was told as a child. |

PLEASE! psst...i smoke those lol. but kids were smoking LONG before them. my grandfather started at 14 Yeah, and where are they found? Guarantee kids arent smoking them. Yeah I know the kids will smoke whatever, I started smoking age 10, and it was my moms cigs. If they are smoking them, its a very very small percentage. |
