Why not just take 75N straight on thru to Ohio??Then ya just have to worry about 75 an not all those little side roads I took 75 North all the way to Michagan last July!!!!!!

How far are you from the route?

For mountain fun look around the Asheville area. I've been white water rafting down the Natahala. Big Fun!! There's horse rides in the mountains, ruby mining and all kinds of other fun stuff to do. And the Smokey Mountain mornings are SOOO beautiful!!

I remember a little about the mountains down there... when I was 13 my friend's family took us down to Myrtle beach.

I'm in SouthEastern PA. Pretty far from West Virginia. My turtle doesn't like long drives

I will be driving through PA on the way back up.

in all my travels on the I75 (south at least) i recall there being trucks, trucks and more trucks.

i'm driving down to florida in july and am planning on doing I79, I77, and I95 and come in through georgia near savannah (it's supposed to take a couple hours off the trip as well)



i love this method of travelling; just going and stopping whenever and wherever you feel like (which is how i intend on getting to florida as well)

It will be my relaxation before going into graduate school. I never really got to travel much with having kido. I have a good car now and a little cash and some time... so I am going for it!

i may change my mind and do I75 coming down (as i'll be the only adult driver, and my kids won't be any help navigating) and we'll head back the other way, stopping in washington DC for a day - but i'll definitely let you know our itinerary.

just be careful.....you may never want to go back to Michigan....
