I'm right with ya Socks.
I have decided that my best weight loss option is to cut WAY back on my Mountain Dew intake. |

Good work, congratulations.
Sheezy, I can give you all you want. Justaguy - sounds like a winning idea, pop is loaded with calories, but you already know that. I have been working on it for some time myself, down a really large amount myself. It is not easy, my head has been fighting me all the way. I gave up diet pop and sugar over a year ago, then snuck the diet pop back in, not smart, the stuff has a hold on me again. Think I need to go cold turkey with the Diet Pepsi again. All I drank for the year was water and some decaf tea. But I missed my fizz. |

I tell ya what, the absolute worst part about it is the caffeine withdrawl.

I tell ya what, the absolute worst part about it is the caffeine withdrawl. I have heard that Mountain Dew has a really high caffeine content. I went cold turkey on the Diet Pepsi, didn't have too much trouble, maybe a headache (okay, I cheated, it was after surgery and I was on an epidural so I was mainlining some drug) . But good luck with it, start cutting down a little at a time, that way your body will accept it and you probably won't suffer the caffeine withdrawal headache symptoms. Good luck. |
