tomatoe sauce bad for a cat? whenever I have pasta, my cat will try to lick the sauce off the plate, I don't let him, but was wondering if it would harm him or not.

Don't know,
BUT if it has onion seasoning in it- it could kill them, or other spices as well. Animals don't know any better to not eat something they should'nt. So its best not to let them eat it.

According to the link above, tomatoes are evidently TOXIC to cats and dogs. So if you're feeding some to your pet, you should probably stop.

 I feel bad enough when I see dead animals on the road, let alone if I was the culprit.

From the Google search I did, most sites seem to say to keep tomatoes away from cats.

Nah, he's 12 years old now, I want him to live as long as possible. I'm hoping he lives atleast 16 years.
