My cat likes to lick the bowl after I have chili and he's never had a problem.. Had a west highland terrier that once got in to and ate 2 boxes of valentines chocolates and never even got sick...

No animals cannot read and don't take vet classes and yes they will eat stuff that will kill them. The anti freeze example is one of them, animals will readily suck it up and then it'll kill them. Cats will drink milk even though it gives them the runs. Dogs will eat chocolate or xylitol (sugar substitute used in various products mostly gum) both of which can kill the dog. |

tomatoe sauce bad for a cat? whenever I have pasta, my cat will try to lick the sauce off the plate, I don't let him, but was wondering if it would harm him or not.  Alot of cats love spagetti sauce. Tomato-based sauce will not hurt them, nor will the herbs and spices. However, you shouldn't give the cat garlic, it can cause a fatal blood condition. Also no onions. Bad Bad Bad.

really not much is good for them besides dead mice and snakes and grasshoppers
milk gives em diarhea, fish gives em urinary tract infections, thay can't taste sweet, chocolate is poison |
