I haven't had an easy life, but I know the terrible things that have
happened were the choices of others. My dad died of stroke when I was
13, but he choose to start smoking at 12 years old. My brother hasn't
talked to me in six years, but it was I who decided to upbraid him for
his drug addiction. My son was hit by a drunk driver, but the driver
was the one who choose to drink. I thank God for being alive and I know
that my reward is in the next life. I eagerly await the day when I can
meet my Lord.

I can promise you this: pursue God like you would a lover. Read the
scriptures, pray and you will find God. When you find God, he will heal
your broken heart. He will replace your anger and sorrow with love and
happiness. He will assure you that everything is okay, because his
Grace will suffice.
