Say what you just said. If you can't do it in person (hard to see THAT look, I know), then write a note and hand deliver (if possible) with an "I'm sorry" or in an email (last resort). Just don't do it by text or let him hang on any longer. The longer he thinks things are ok, the harder it will be. Pulling the bandage off quickly is always less painfull than trying to ease it off. Take a deep breath and just do it. I'm against any sort of emailing or phoning about this. Face to face is the only way. I agree.. After a year, face to face is what he deserves whether it's comfortable for you or not.... |

Does anybody know how to get rid of a guy with out breaking it off with him verbally? I hate breaking hearts but I am not into this guy I have been dating for over a year. Just not enough chemistry to be with for the rest of my life, it was good while it lasted but now I see that I really don't want to be with him permanently, so how can i dump him without breaking his heart? Tell him just what you said here. |

hey I know...when you're together just sit on your butt, drink beer, and watch sports... after awhile he'll have to break up with you or go insane  or you can just talk at him incessantly, act all mad at him and when he asks you what's wrong tell him "if you don't know, I'm not going to tell you", then make him go buy your tampons.

After a year, show respect, and tell him face to face. Its a killer for both of you. But, atleast you will know you did your best in a bad situation.

italy...I know many have giving you advice on this before. if you don't feel that way to him, you owe it to him to end it. no matter how much money there is. it isn't fair to him and he will get over it in time
