It has been 24 years now since surviving brain injury number 1
It will be 18 years since brain injury number 2 on 5/27/07. I could go into the survival story but I won't bore you. The point is that I am very proud to say that this evening I am receiving this award because I dared to fight the fight, walk the walk, talk the talk, and face the fears of rehabilitation after two life altering traumatic events. By not allowing myself to lay down and die but rather stand up and be counted I forced myself back to reality and after all this time I am being noticed. The will to survive conquers all. Deal I will, and Survive I must Peace~ Mike |

Thank you all.
I just got home from the awards. It makes me feel good knowing that there are companies out there that care enough to help the disabled become abled. The disabled community has a 70% unemployment rate for obvious resons and through companies like I work for the 30% that are employed can walk tall and stand straight giving 110% most days with a smile because we did it. Peace~ Mike |
