What would a great first date be like for you?

the best first date I had was going to the park and feeding the ducks. I know it sounds corny, but we sat on a park bench and talked, fed the ducks, went for a walk and held hands by the end of the date. It was wonderful....
another one was a picnic at a lake. We were under a covered picnic site and it poured rain, but we didnt care. We had a great time. |

A great first date? Ah, a guy that I'm really into would be a great date in itself. But I think anything that is fun or spontaneous would do the trick.

I like to fashion a first date that is based on inside jokes unique to my date and me. For example,
* making triple-decker peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and having a picnic in the woods while playing a gripping game of Scrabble. *Meeting at a steakhouse for dinner and a Chutes and Ladders tournament. *Meeting at the Hallmark store an going around playing the "Higher or Lower Game" from Price is Right (guessing the prices of all the tchotchkes) and then going out for "The Kitchen Sink" ice cream sundaes. *Making a picture scavenger hunt for each other, where we have to take pics with our cell phones of us doing silly things at specific places that the other has designated. Things like that. Dating should be fun! |

I wouldn't like that kind of first date!!! Playing games!?!
A good first date, when all works and there is attraction and the person you found is like you thought and hoped for (and feels the same way about you)...should end in bed or very close. I don't play games. Some women play games, some are more direct. Some men have strategies, some like the chase and women that play games with them. A good first date means you don't have many first dates though. |
