I think I might qualify as addicted when I was with my 2nd husband. I tried too hard and put up with way too much. Thank God that passed!!!

yeah then I woke up and thought....what the heck was I thinking? Being obsessed and addicted to someone who only cares for themselves is very distructive and leads your whole life to chaos and confusion... not worth it. I don't think it is an addiction to the reality of a person but the idea of a person and the more you are around them the more you hope for something they can not possibly give you... respect and love... They are only interested in using you because they know you would do anything for them... It is not worth it!

Thought I was, but no. Ive broken wierd habits like that kind of thinking since. Now, its like.. PLEASE dont call me for a week! Its torturous when I cant get someone out of my head, i totally distance myself.. I dont want to o.d. My ex used to ask me to ride with him on his way to work he wanted me to see him so much. At that time, id wake up, hed creep into my head, and Id be like.. ohhh helll noooo!! Id ask God to like.. give me strength to not answer his calls, and puleaseee make him go away!!! lol I think maybe HE was addicted. God, grant me the serenity.. lol Ah but he was so hot though, drove me crazy.
