I love South Bend,IN, the weather is usually pretty decent. No extreme heat too often and enough cold weather to keep the bugs and venomous critters in check. We're a short drive to the big city or the country and I enjoy both. We have fantastic county fairs and hometown race tracks, my favorite is New Paris. Gotta love those figure 8 spectator races at the end of the night and they let you cook out right there trackside! The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo is a wonderful place to spend the day. And I look forward to the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff in St Joe, MI every year, less than an hour away.

I haven't been attacked by pterodactyls yet. Tomorrow's another day, though.

One thing cool about Indiana....the cost of living and thats it. But I would rather be somewhere else struggling and having a good time then to be here living comfortably and miserable.
