Thanks for the clarity Marley. I can honestly say that I don't take posts like that seriously and normally ignore those posters after. Life's too short to waste energy on people like that.

With regard to forum posts, I've read many, even before posting much myself. Keeping that in mind, I think sometimes people can be condescending and even cruel to those really seeking help or advice on the forums. However, if someone is willing to post something, they should know that with real genuine responses also comes the fake, funny, and even stupid answers. So you get the good with the bad. Whether a person is geniune in his or her posts is determined by getting to know that person on a deeper level. Yeah, I divide posts up a little differently, though. There are the insightful, thought-provoking, intellectual posts full of substance and wit and philosophical pearls of wisdom, and then there are the other 99%

Taking things seriously will get you upset or angry. Just roll with it and laugh at the absurdity. Like what if a man wants to marry a chicken? Hey! That is a legitimate argument! If former congressman Rick Santorum can use it, then hell, why can't I! Because its silly. What if a man wants to marry a building? A strawberry? The moon? And politicians are idiots. Not true. Those are list of inanimate objects. Not possible sentient beings like a chicken in the animal kingdom. Not all politicians are idiots. sentient beings have free will. And when a chicken looks at me, and says, "hey, wanna get hitch?" I don't think I could ever say no. Not all of em, but most. I did say "possible" sentient beings such as a chicken. Who the **** knows, chickens could be specifically be a biological automation for all I care. Now on the part about free will. What make you infer that when a being talk to you, that it is the necessary requirement to prove that it has free will? I say most politicians are bright. It is the majority of the people that vote for them are dumb in my book.

Depends if I can use them as a springboard to make a larger point. If so, great. If not, I move on to something else. Some of us are interested in communicating with other people. Some of us are only interested in seeing how many times we can sneak a third-grade naughty word into a post. It's not hard to figure out who's who.

It is the majority of the people that vote for them are dumb in my book. Well communicating your wants and need shows higher brain function, thus leading to the ability to have free will. I wanna marry Summer Glau, but I'm sure she'd have me up on stalking charges in no time, because unlike a chicken, she has standards.
