Ok so I buy this home in a trailer park.
I'm thinking Yea! I own my own home!
I recently get new neighboors who seem ok.
Then the onsulot begins!

First it starts with the new neighboors little one and a few others.
Bashing my home with toys, their bodies, and oh yeah... rocks and sticks, and what ever they can hold- swing- or throw.
First I speak kindly to the adult at the home.
(So called Babysitter or realative?).
Then I speak to the little one's kindly.
I'm thinking ok- that should of done it. Yeah right!
My home gets pelted and banged up against on a daily basis,
and this has been going on for weeks on end.

Next thing you know there is tons of children
playing next door and on my lot.
At first I thought- what is this a day care center?
Then I realize these children have come from inside the park.
Then as I am sitting at my desk- BAM!
Something hits the window hard beside me.
I look out and see an ADULT has hit a ball with a kids bat.
Of coarse it hit my window, luckly not breaking it.
I open that same window and say...
(Jokingly:) Next time could ya aim for the siding and smile.

Ok now every kid in the park,
ok I'm exaggerating- but not by much.
Is now playing next to my home and even in my lot.
On different occassions I have come home, to find them on my patio.
My patio table was broken, my flowers broke and trampeled,
and my wind chimes bent up. Not to mention the dings to
my home and car. Oh and the skirtting being caved in.
Ok- so now I'm getting mad.

I go to the park office and complain.
Lets just say they don't do too much.
Over a month latter we get sent our monthly statements.
With reminders for parents to tell their children to be
cautiouse and considerate of their neighboors.
HELL! Tell them to stay the heck OUT of their neighboors lots.
For goodness sake tell them to WATCH their children!!!

Now I am known around here as the parks "Old B*tch".
Gee seems the office had to tell them it was me- huh.
Then I get the great idea to recently buy me a car.
Two days after the complaint to the office...
I wake up to mud having been slug all over the front of my car,
AND a BIG ding in my back bumper. Made by someone oviousely backing into me ON PURPOSE. I had'nt left my parking space for two days.
I know it happened here. Yep I march strait to the office.
I am fuming! They say they can't do anything.

Then we come to the tale of the older kids with the basketball
portable hoop right across from me. Not more then 8-10 feet from
the side of my car. The park and lots are way too small for this.
Yep- now my car is getting hammered by basketballs too, and bicycles.
There are many more examples I could give you about the ADULTS
here and what they are doing too, but I'll save that for my book.
(Joking... maybe). You don't want to be here all day anyway.

So therefore my question's I have are these...
What ever happened to adults WATCHING their children?
Where did manners and respect go?
Anyone want to buy a Mobilehome?
You see I was'nt going to post this, but...
I was woke up today by a loud noise- of something being thrown up agaisnt my home very hard, and not being done by children.
Also when I step out my front door now or look out my windows,
they now loudly mumble NOSEY OLD B*TCH!

I am not able to move my home on its own land due to newer zoning
rules here and the age of my home. Other wise I would be making a
bee line outta here with my home ASAP!

That's horrible. In fact, I'd probably be quite afraid along with being angry. It almost sounds as though they are in cohorts and are ganging up on you.

Since the park office doesn't seem willing to really assist you, is there some place to which they report? Or are you able to call in the police?

Thats the thing... the city police do not police this area.
Its a local township, and I have dealt with them before
(another story). They consider this private property to some
extent. More or less they won't do anything but wright it on a peice of paper and dump it into their IDGAS files.

Also by calling them, I have only angered people more...

Damaging your property is vandalism.

I'm tellin ya...shoot over their heads a time or two and they wont be back...

I would call all my biker friends over for a party and let em park 30 or 40 Harleys their driveway and see if they dare to say anything about it

Apperently vandalizum is getting shoved in the IDGAS file too.
I clearly voiced my opinion about it being destruction of my property. Park says call the police, police say complain to park.

get a lawyer and file a civil suit against the park for damages

Seriousely I believe I would rather just move.
These people are clearly never going to like me now.
I have even over heard them say I don't belong here.
(Yea they got that right... I have manners).

So let me get this straight, there are no police you can call even the state police?

Oh and I forgot to mention one more thing...

If you don't see a said event and have a witness to it,
this is appearently the grounds they use to say they can't do anything. Your word is also not good enough. Even if you see said
event, they still say they can not take your word for it.
It is more or less your word agaisnt theirs, and no one wants to get involved with it. They can only file a report.

And we all know what file its goes in don't we!
Yep! The IDGAS file!

By the way, I have started taking pictures of my home and auto
for the record.

I have called the police.
It went over really well with my neighboors, let me tell you.
I filed a report.

Time to get the old handy dandy video camera out... set it up and catch them in the act... no one can argue it... pictures and video are strong evidence in any situation.

If you can aford to move,Than maybe that would be best.If not< than the biker idea is perfect!I needed help moving to a new town over with my job.Just so happens one of my employees was married to a biker.They had me moved in in a flash,Plusssssssssssss,Had everyone in the naborhood showing me & my daughter the upmost restect..No problems at all.And it could of been like what your facing.All was good.Bring in the Bikers!
