Happy Wednesday to you all! It is cloudy and not a sign of the sun up there at all. I guess I will run my sister around today and get her errands ran. I woke up with a headache. I hate that, didn't sleep well at all. Smells like rain here. Hope everyone is doing well on their secret pal gifts. My pal was surprisingly easier to shop for than I originally thought. Go figure. Best of luck to you all with your pals.

Good afternoon pals! Well it poured this morning and now it is so humid you can hardly breath. The a/c went on!!! Got three new dresses and two pair of shoes today. Getting ready for school to begin again.

I got another box from my July pal Sherry (DFT). And a card. The postcard has is of a barn with Mail Pouch tobacco painted on it, very cool. The box had a set of coasters from Ball State with thier mascot on them, a shot glass from IN, A first aid kit for camping (hope I never need to use it), some coloring books for my girls, a sweat band. Thank you so much I love it all. |

Good night all. Going to be beautiful tomorrow and I plan (although things never go as I plan) to go swimming tomorrow. Tim glad you got the next package. You should be getting a large envelope next. I received a very sweet card from my Secret Pal in yesterday's mail. My pal is still a mystery.
I just got back on Tuesday from a long weekend with my cousin, and yesterday was my first day back to work. So with five day's work piled up on my desk, it was really nice coming home to a surprise. Thank you, (((Pal)))! |

We're kinda runnin' low on Pals for August, only 11 so far and no one new yet. Really not sure how to recruit more folks to our little family.

 Okay, here's how this works.
Towards the end of every month I will ask for folks to be Secret Pals to someone for the following month. Presently, I am seeking Secret Pals for August. If you would like to participate, write me and give me your home address. Once I have the names of all who would like to participate for that month, I will assign secret pals. You must be willing to share your home address You are to send the person I assign you for that month a surprise, i.e., a card, a note, a refrigerator magnet, a bookmark, a lottery ticket, a postcard.... anything specific to that member or your area would be great, but it can be whatever you choose. Because of issues with packages crossing the borders and the cost involved I'm afraid I have to limit this to the US only. The list will change monthly, so if you want to participate again the following month, you must wrte me and let me know you want to participate again. This is a good reason to start a scrap book! When you receive something from your secret pal, come back here and let us know. |
