I'm not sure what you mean by fake. I tend not to live in plastic world or in robotville!

First dates for me are best when casual. I like to have an activity or background 'noise' but nothing distracting.

Meeting for lunch and then going rock wall climbing is fun. If we vibe then it's on to dinner and drinks.

I have season tix to The River Cats which is the AAA team to the A's. That is always a fun first date.

A sports bar is fun too: games are on, pool, darts, shuffle board, etc. Dave and Busters is my fave -- video games too!

I don't like going to the movies for the first four or five dates because I can't communicate or get to know him. It's the same for going to loud clubs and concerts -- no bueno.

The best first date I ever had lasted almost 23 hours!

We met around 11am for brunch then went to get my dogs for a day at the lake. He dropped me off and went home to change, and picked my up around 4pm for drinks and dinner. He came to my place to watch a movie then we drove to the bluffs with some wine and bread to watch the sunset. We came back and crashed on the couch for a couple of hours and then went to breakfast. We dated for 6 years!

well this weekend i am meeting someone and with the weather so beautiful, we are going to meet at a local park, in my town, and have a picnic. i dont like movies for a first date b/c i want to be able to talk.

I have several planned dates I take women on. They all have a few things in common. It starts with her coming to my place. Then we stop by a coffe house or other social gathering place where I have lots of friends. Next we'll do some kind of action activity like bowling, shotting pool or something. after that we'll go to a nightclub where I have a lot of friends. Then we'll have something to eat and back to my place where we'll watch a DVD and she is welcome to spend the night if she wants. We each pay for our one drinks, games and food. The date takes about 8 hours before we get back to my place.
