my only problem with not having children out of wedlock, is what if your a happy couple but you dont want to get married? does thast mean you arent allowed to have children?

I read a case just last night of a couple that had fifteen children. As an added bonus welfare hadn't been invented yet.

I read a case just last night of a couple that had fifteen children. As an added bonus welfare hadn't been invented yet. as I have said before...if they can take care of the children...then it's no one business how many they have.

I am not normally a bettin woman, but; I'd be willing to bet that most if not all are on welfare. When they are on welfare...we become their serogate parents. We pay for them to have a raise these children. Not to mention we pay for their hospital stays and future medical attention.Child care etc etc etc... Kat

What did people do before welfare? Before welfare??? They got off their asses and worked! They took care of their responsibilities. People actually got married and worked on that too. Also back when; they tried to know who they were dealing with before they had kids. It didn't used to be popular to have kids then "maybe" think about getting married.If at all. Kat

That I have no problem with. Like the "Dugger" family on TV. 18 kids and counting. It's one family that raises ALL of their children. In this case tho it's one man, with at least 11 different mothers and 21 kids. Not the same as just having a large family.

Something to help make ends meet until you can get on your feet and pay your bills yourself. It's not meant to fully support you and your family just so you don't have to work. But... that's what it's turned into.

You know they can't possibly have a good relationship with ALL of their siblings. They probably don't even know all of their names.
