I wouldn't be with a racist. I would definitely be able to find out before we were married. I have friends of all ethnicities.......
On a funny note, my daughter was looking over my shoulder the other day and saw a black man's picture and she said to me, "Daddy, I know who that is" - I was curious and said, "You do, who is it?" She replied, "That's Barack Obama" - That was hilarious see because it was just some random black guy....NOT Obama....... Kids - they're hilarious and so innocent........... |

My son did that with a billboard. It was a black guy and lady, she had longer hair and both were smiling. Look mommy! Look! It's the president and his pretty wife!! |

I wouldn't be with a racist too but was just wondering, should we make an attempt to change their views before calling it off. Who knows under what circumtances someone develops that racism insect.

to the OP - I would find it offensive, and likely would not see them any longer. I tried to date a woman who later turned out to be a bigot -- it really offended me (I have dated women of other races in my past so I took direct offense to her attitude)... She had the nerve to say that she was not (but it was obvious)...
To me it shows ignorance, being closed to new things, and selfishness... p.s. would have never gotten to marriage, this would have been figured out before making that decision to marry.... |
