My daughter has been awarded with the most certificates of any student in her classroom which includes music and art achievement certificates for the year. She also received the honor roll trophy in which one only gets if one achieves superior honor roll student status after all report cards have been evaluated for straight A's.

Also only 3 of the 520 children in school has received the grand trophy of not missing a single day in school, superior honor roll status, and exceeding grade level expectancy. My daugher is one of them. I am gloating of happiness that I can hardly contain myself from such happiness.

The hard work has finally been paid off as I watch my daughter receive the certificates and trophies. I am sad that so many children where crying as they didn't receive anything.

Now I have many parents wanting me to tutor their children and the principal including teachers of all grade levels shaking my hand today.

I am a very proud father with many tears rolling down my face.

You have no idea how hard I work for my child's education. Not only is she bright but I too am learning so much from her.

Sorry I had to express my feelings today by typing this. Thankyouflowerforyou

The many many hours of studying with her and the frustrations at times. The time when something so simple should be understood was a lesson on how to stay patient regardless.

It is a great feeling!

Thanks bro for your compliment. It is really appreciateddrinker

There was a day where we stayed up beyond bedtime hours trying to get a subject learned. It was a hard day full of frustration on both sides.

Nevertheless exhausted we went to bed and tried again a hour earlier next morning then usual to get this subject understood.

Later that day she got a A on the test and we both went to bed early! lol

Of course those are the sacrifices one takes sometimes, but now as I see the rewards she gets, I can only say that it was well worth it!

Pride well placed.

Congrats, its only when education is important to a person that this kind of thing feels like an achievement, as a parent that in itself is an amazing accomplishment . . . helping a child to enjoy and rank education as important.

I can honestly say that for the vast majority of my education I did not find school important in the least . . . too many times to count I have regretted that sentiment. Its taken a lot of time and effort to get where I am after having fell behind with that mentality.

I think what made me such a concerned parent and emphasize so much on my daughters education is the lack of attention or care I got when I grew up and didn't have this kind of nurturing.

Although I did well for myself primarily, I realized that I could have done alot better if my parents would have been better guides in doing so.

It is today that I see it as a victory that such long hours is well worth the sacrifice in the long run. It is love unparallel that any teacher, rolemodel, or superstar can ever offer as the parent is the soul responsiblity in ensuring a brighter future for their young ones.

I will keep up this strict diet of education with a twist of fun so she will have a wide opportunity when colleges send her letters wanting her to represent them and learn under their roof.

Thanks for your compliment friend. I appreciate it as it means alot to me. drinker
