Do you ever find your mouth gets in the way or ruins things??? maybe too blunt or honest (like me)

sometimes i re-read an e-mail, and wish i had said it better, and made it more toned down, or said something somebody might take the wrong way, but i ment no harm. sometimes i can be very warm to a soul, and they may mis-construe it to more than it is in some instances, or sometimes, i'm at a complete loss for the right words, and completely screw up, but ment well

I tend to have this trouble while posting in forums. Most people don't get my jokes and think it's some kind of insult. But, I seldom have this trouble in real life.

Yup. I have the same trouble- things I say in jest are often taken with great offense. So I don't even bother dispensing with the levity anymore.

i'm not talking about hurting feelings...even though my honesty and bluntness has done that without meaning to (sometimes I do mean to lol)
