I Pine

I pine, as I feel
your touch warming
deep, wondering
how you feel as I see your eyes
closing, opening,
breathing in, out,
the rise and slow descent
of calm.
I pine for the uncertainty,
expected and realization
of longing culminated
with distance and reality
as again, it shows face.
I pine for we have not yet
known how it feels
to breathe the same breath.
Oh, how I pine for you,
for soon, before there is no
hope of kiss, need, want
and longing.
I ask you, plain and simple,
Will you remember my touch,
the smooth of my skin?
Will you remember my tears
and keep my smile?
Do not pine for me.
It is a sore and consuming fire.
Just kiss as if forever,
for it is.
I pine.
