...I'm wondering how many of these "women" are actually men.
If you find interest in one...little trick we use here...ask them to post a pic with a piece of paper, stating "today's date"...takes care of that.
<~~~~~~~always knew you were a smart woman!!!!!

Also, if you are looking for "friends" then why the hell do you care if you are attracted to the person or not?

Has someone told you that they feel this way, or is it just an assumption on your part?

I asked one of the girls who had "friends" as her looking for.
I get it...almost as bad as people not talking to you as friends because you smoke and you are 2000 miles apart:laughing:

Maybe they are just trying to avoid an awkward moment where they have to tell you it is fine being in contact on line but I don't want to meet in person say at a Mingle gathering or unexpected meeting. It is hard to to like someone as a friend and just keep it on line. Small world and things can happen to bring you together not expected. I won a free trip and had an online friend get really mad that I didn't stop buy for a visit because I knew some of their choices.

Actually, mine says I am here for friends....talking on a pc, miles and miles apart doesn't hurt anyone....but that's their problem not mine. I've just noticed some on here have some odd phobias is all.

We're in a new age of technology where every kid grows up texting 30 friends on their cell phone and we are more connected now than ever before. It's the age of instant gratification where you can buy whatever you want online and have it overnighted, make friends with someone 2000 miles away, and have tons of mainstream media and marketing shoved in your face.

Unfortunately I have noticed that newer generations have become less and less considerate to those around them. Many people nowadays will just ignore you and stop talking to you instead of declining your offer. No one has any common courtesy anymore.

Back in the 50's, they would politely decline your offer to take them to the prom and say thank you anyways.

In the 70's, they would say "Naw man, thanks though...I got a love in to go to, peace man!"

Nowadays they just delete you from their friends list on MySpace.

The oldest of cliche's is the answer. Once we open our mouths, we remove all doubts (verbally and online). We leave a paper trail online that they find incompatible with thier standards or lack thereof.

Funny thread. If you want a real woman then meet one in the real world brother. You are a good looking guy (with radiant teeth) so why care about some stranger on line and if they do or dont answer your messages. You can do it brother....and in real life you dont have to wonder if their pics are real or if they are packing a bigger hog than you, etc. Now go get em tiger! Its easy...even a caveman coudl do it!!

Disclaimer: This thread is intended to be sarcastic.

Unfortunately I am in a new city and state. Most of the women in my classes are 40+ and I work a nightlife job. I meet women and get numbers every night I work but I don't prefer to meet a woman at a bar. I'm going out today just to do whatever and I know there's a chance I COULD meet someone, but I've been single for 4 years and I'm ready to meet someone for something serious.

Take looking for marriage off your profile.. Any non-desperate woman will run from that.. The most that will get you on here is Russian or Nigerian scammers...

Stick to the threads, post and you will get to know people.. From there anything can happen.. There have already been a few marriages and quite a few dating relationships with people that got to know each other in the threads..

Relax, be yourself and a gal that you click with will come along. Join some intramaural sports teams, a running club, do toastmasters, or just strike up conversations with people and have a positive outlook. Chicks dig that stuff. Dont be fake though...do stuff you really like...thats how most good couples meet I think. There are a milions social activities and you just need a few to latch on to and you will take off like a champ. Just ease into a relatiosnhip and see where it takes you...the journey is half the fun. Now, Grasshopper, it is time for you to leave. Go brighten the world with your smile.
