I got your text about the movie! How was it btw? It was excellent!!! Far better than I imagined. The series is reinvented. This was, by far, the best of all the Star Trek movies. I'LL be the skeptical judge of that. If you are not a fan of the genre I understand. You are entitled to your opinions but we do not have to agree on all. My previous favorites in the series were Wrath Of Khan and Voyage Home. Those were good. This was excellent. I've started collectin the Burger King glasses. I love me some Star Trek. I got a crush on Spock

I am a true blue, dyed-in-the-wool Trekkie, especially of the original series. I just don't know how well I would be able to accept new people (especially [essentially] "kids") taking on such classic roles of those defined by the original cast. Just doesn't seem right somehow. Like "remaking" a masterpiece.

Like "remaking" a masterpiece. I understand Keith. I watched the orginal series during its initial run! I went to the first Star Trek Convention in manhattan in 1972. I assure you I'm a purist. This is a reinvention that manages to keep the Roddenberry spirit alive.
