I was married for 31 years and the last 16 of those years I was my husband sole caregiver as he declined with Parkinson's Disease. I am a widow now and am finding I don't much care for being along, but at the same time, finding it hard to start over. Seems dating isn't like riding a bike, you do forget how.

u might find there r others out there just like u. i am a widow kinda sorta...cause i wish my x hsband was 6' under.

We'll make you less lonesome if you get involved. I can only imagine what you went through. My father-in-law also suffered from Parkinsons for about 20 years and my mother-in-law likely had a similar experience with you, may they both rest in peace.
I hope you figure out how to make your sun shine again. After taking care of someone that intensely, you tend to forget there is any other way to exist. God bless you!! |
