Maybe she really did get called in to work..

Well how do you feel the date went?

it went okay, i mean we talked and we laughed and she sent me a text saying that she had fun, but i am just a little skeptical

it's always good to give her the benefit of the doubt.
of course, it's always a possibility that she's blowing you off, but don't let that thought fully take over. i'd say to let things play out. talk to her casually for a bit and ask if she wants to hang out again. |

call her back an set up to meet again tomorrow.. its friday. good luck

My philosophy on dating is that you should only put in as much effort as the other person is. If you don't see her making any real effort to communicate with you to hang out again then I'd just forget about it. Sometimes people do get busy but a text doesnt take much effort.

Don't be skeptical. THAT is what will chase her off. Keep an open mind and stay calm. Just Breathe!
(wish I would have followed this one myself) |

Dear (_____), I had a great time last night and thought about you today. Too bad you got called in to work. That must stink. Hey, if you want, why don't you give me a call (or email) if you're not too tired. If you are tired, call me later. Maybe we can have coffee or (____). *offer void where prohibited by law or lack of interest |

I would give her the benefit of the doubt this time. If it starts to become a pattern, then that should tell you something. Good Luck.
