People play games mostly because of indecision. They can't make up their minds as to what they want and/or how to get it. They constantly feel the need to string the other party along with their inability to come up with an answer to what they want, and in the end, they end up making more enemies than friends.

The only way to beat them at their own "game" is to simply NOT play the game in the first place- if you sense the other party is stringing you along with half-answers or other forms of malarkey, just walk away. It will save you a lot of headaches in the long run.

This isn't game playing. This is simply someone that can't make up their mind.

Game playing would be something like making a date with you only because they don't want to be alone on Saturday night. But, they make up some BS story when they are asked out by someone they really want to be with that asked them out at the last minute.

Another reason for games is to learn the truth. You could just ask, but they might lie. So, you have to test them.
