I sold one of my guitars on there, went great.I didn't post my number, I let them email me first and then took it from there.

Scotty was also part of the prostitution ring just busted on C.L.!

Giving back all the refunds was killing me anyways, damn if not fully satisfied money back guarantees

Sold 2 of my friends dirt bikes on there in a week on Craigslist. It went very smooth and fast. I got about 10 emails and then 2 separate guys came to the house with trailers and the deal was complete. Easy, painless and quick. Couldnt of been happier, my friend was shocked when I handed him the $6,000. I couldnt of been happier because I told him he was buying dinner that night!

Have sold several items on CL. It's worked great each time.

Have used eBay as well. There's a right time and a right venue for anything you have to sell.

Also, look into getting a Paypal account if you think you might be dealing in payment outside of cash. Everything I ever sell is paid for with either cash or Paypal.

I sold some furniture on Craigslist last year. Everything went well and it was very easy.

i have used and continue to use craigs list to move things i need to get rid of

i never give my phone number nor email address

i put contact through grags list plz at the bottom of the add

it may stop a few perspective customers but they probably do not want it bad enough to buy it anyway

at first i gave contact info and i got a lot of stupid contacts not related to the listing

that is why i began the contact through craigs list method

good luck and remember money talks and talk usually walks

Craigslist is no different from any other venue. You get some wierdoes, but you can meet some great people too. I used to sell everything on Ebay, but I quit last year after all their insane changes and fee hikes. I've been selling it all on Craigslist since then with great success. I've done so well that my brother now has me selling all his stuff. Of course I charge a nice commission, but I do all the work. We've gotten some great prices for stuff we might have just hauled to the landfill just to get it out of here.

I don't put my phone number on Craigslist anymore. Some jerk kept calling to tell me to quit listing on HIS Craigslist when I was trying to sell my laptop. He claimed it was a piece of crap (altho he had never seen it) and I'd be lucky to get $50 for it. I sold it a couple weeks later for $300.
