Yep. Awards banquet till 1:30...golf at 2:30. It was an absolutely gorgeous day on the course.

Sorry to hear that! It was still worthwhile, though, I'm guessing? I mean...you could be at work or be golfing...I don't think it much matters what the score ends up being if you look at it THAT way! LOL!

LOL! It also helped that the back 9 was much better. I kinda sorta got it figured out and started making good shots. The wind was wreaking havoc on my short iron shots though. Was still a lot of fun though. Got another round to play tomorrow morning. Then another round on Saturday. lol |

Then another round on Saturday. lol Well think of me...I have a Board Mtg at 7am, a construction meeting at 9am, a community event at 12 and a webinar on ARRA grants at 1pm. THEN I can actually get to work! NOT complaining though...you KNOW I'm supposed to be doing what I'm doing now. |

Yep. You are absolutely where you should be. :-) And guess what happened today? One of my site directors (I'll be making 2 of them direct reports of mine in the fall when the current program lead goes PT/semi-retired) put a really nice Thank You card in my inbox today for me to find as a surprise. She said I've already made a huge difference and am appreciated for my encouragement of others and a bunch of other very complimentary stuff...it really caught me off guard but totally made my day! Wasn't that sweet? I guess I must be doing SOMETHING right! And BTW...I don't think it was intended as kissing up! |
