Just had a 5.0 earthquake shake things up here a little while ago. I was 2 miles from the epicenter. That was just a little shaker!
Even had a bump of an after shock or two. What was even funnier was how freaked out the neighbors were! I lived during the last two Simi Valley Earthquakes and both were over 7.0. Heck, Northridge was a 6.8 (arguably 7.0). Tonight's was just a little shaker! I want a REAL big one to hit! That will help construction here for a while! |

Yeah. I felt the quake as well. I barely even noticed it, too- in fact, i thought it was one of those local d-bags in their tuner POS's with their radios on and their bass turned all the way up than an actual earthquake.

we had one here (not where im at) but the next town over which is about a hour away.. on mothers day weekend... i told my older sister and she freaked for she thought she was having a dream about a earthquake and in her dream she was talking to our mom about it.. and she realize after i told her. the dream wasent a dream after all...
the earthquake we had here about 15-16yrs ago my uncle was on vacation and he was watching tv. and during the news he saw his resturant fall down.. it was a old building, so they couldnt really do anything about it.....(the building was one of his investments) |

For a second thought it was the neighbors surround sound b/c it drives me nuts constantly... but it was a baby rumble, nothing really... |

glad I live on the east coast and we don't get earthquakes You do realize that we're now doomed... Whoever's up there, Jesus, Buddha, Vishnu, Tom Cruise, she honestly didn't mean to tempt you. We're quite happy with our non-shakey ground. |

The east coast gets them too but they are usually very weak. Not like here. I have lived through two 7.0s here and a couple of 6.somethings. Trust me, a 7.0 makes you think God is pissed off at you!
