I Tested 37 Dating Sites. Here are my favs

I had been using a lot of free dating sites for the past 6 months. I tried it because I was tired of meeting the wrong people. I wanted a place where I had an option to filter out the people who weren't right for me. I wanted to get to know the guy first, instead of being physically attracted to him the first time I see him.

Not-so-great Sites I Tried:

* PlentyOffish.com - free, but good luck standing out. Met no one.
* Match.com - Lots of fake/old profiles, and over-rated matching system
* Yahoo! Personals - horrible interface and tons of email spam.

Best Sites:

* For Guys:
o Perfect Match *Great for Guys, it's literally packed with women!

* For Girls:
o Matchmaker *#1 hands down for women

Okay, so after using 37+ dating sites, I want to share my formula so you too can find someone online.
My Secret "3 step" formula to find the perfect mate

Step 1:
Sign up for a dating site. I recommend one of the following (I tested 37, remember?)

* Perfect Match
* Matchmaker

Step 2:
Fill out your profile This is the most important step. Be as honest as possible. Show all your interests and don't be afraid to show your 'quirky' side. Your profile description acts as your pick up line so make it count.

Here's an example of a funny, yet confident profile description:

Me: I've got a great sense of humor. I'm a very well liked respectable kind of guy. I like camping and fishing and I like to travel and snowboard. I'm enjoying the new career path I've just begun, and living in Alberta kinda rocks right now! I love meeting new people but I'm not looking to become someone's serious boy toy … so let's just hangout and see what's wut.
P.S. If you're too shy to say hello, then ask one of your friends to pass me a note that says “My friend likes you… do you like her too? Circle Yes or No”

Step 3:
Message a few people a week for 30 days. A lot of people make profiles, and neglect using them. Don't do that! Message people and success will follow.

It isn't a question of gender, the fellas are just as guilty of chatting about meeting in reality world, then all of a sudden they back off. Why are people so scared of leaving the pc?
