I figured it was short for New England

What? slaphead You mean to tell me you screwed up the English language for ONE letter? slaphead tongue2

I've never heard "Ne" used in place of the word 'any'. Weird! I despise anything the isn't proper grammar though. smitten  (typos not included -- we all goof on the keyboard!) rofl

Its funny that u have never used short hand when speaking in text, sorry sometimes it carries over into anything i write in text, i accidentally put it in there. I find myself when writing papers to have to go back an check for "u" and "Ne" along with other short hand i have used texting.

Even when I text, I type out all the words in longhand, even though it costs me to send it in two sections.

I guess taking keyboarding through high school, and various jobs, has made me such a fast typist that attempting to phonetically sound out words takes up WAY too much of my time. It's easier, and faster, to type it in full.

But I do have a stickly left shift key so I sometimes give up on the proper capitalization of words.

Lol, well its not what i have came up with for myself. I just started using it as others I texted did. Usually when i am on the computer I try to not do it. When texting, others know what i am saying and i know what they are saying.. So it just works.

 A fetish is sexual arousal from a subject matter. I don't have a fetish for proper English. I do, however, have a penchant for proper English, and a minor in English, second to my major in sports medicine. winking

I'm in my master's program now, and anything less than standard English (there is not a recognized 'new' English), is not acceptable.

Don't worry, I know I am a PITA!

Oh, well, as you said, you are just here to flirt. Flirt on my man! flowerforyou

I was starting to think I was the only person who typed out full words in text messages .
