Hey girl sorry to hear what happened that does suck never had a vehicle stolen. But never know start looking now and you may find and older couple that is selling their car at a decent price. Or call your local police department and see if they are having and auction anytime soon lots of times they have some real good deals on cars that they confiscated. Either through tickets or drug deals.

Ohhh found this site since your a single mom they have low cost or even at times free car seats. Check out the site and go to your county to see if there is someone in the area that could help you.

If not call your Fire Department and ask them if they know of any places that help single moms out with car seats tell them your car got stolen and it was in the car. You never know what they will come up with. Since it is the Fire Departments in most areas that are holding the car seat safety checks ect.

If was a booster seat... so they run around $20 so that is no biggie. My grandparents are hopefully going to buy me a used car and they have a company that they have been going through for a few years now.

Was this one of those cars where it would take 15 minutes to tell a friend how to drive it, should one request its use? I had one of those. Ya gotta turn the key just so. The door handle always works on the second tug, never the first. There's no syncho on revers, so you have to go to 4th, then over to reverse. My favorite was telling them that I disabled the clutch interlock switch. Meant that the car could be started while in gear and engaged. I made the mistake once whil in the garage area at Watkings Glen Raceway. LOL, good times.

My car was recovered after an on-foot police chase! Yoohhoo! Since my grandparents are getting me another car and the damages plus the existing issues are more than the worth of the car, I just signed it over to the tow company to scrap it!

They cleaned it out.. (the car was cleaner than I had ever seen it!) So I lost my son's car seat and my baby blanket and my son's baby blanket!

But I guess everything happens for a reason.

No they didn't catch them! Most of my damage to my car was due to them running out of it with it still in gear!

I had a Plymouth Horizon stolen from me a long time ago. It was taken to NYC and before the cops notified me they had already had it crushed and scraped. They tried for 2 years to get me to pay the parking tickets on it because I had waited until morning to report it stolen and the 1st ticket on it was 15 minutes BEFORE I had reported it stolen.

in 1983 i had this 77 monte carlo, it was a sweet ride, it got stolen from in front of my parents house, they stripped and burned it. the police called after it exploded, i didnt even know it was gone

must been them hood rats from 8 mile

Oh and you don't have to worry about 8 mile (is the border of detroit and other cities).... its past 8 mile into detroit that you have to worry about!
