Agreed... I learned this the hard way!

I'm not talking every once in awhile, I'm talking all the time, me doing the paying. What happened to 50/50?

I gave up along time ago. Now I live 4 me, and my 3 kids. What's more happier than the smiles on your kids face when they wake up and see me.

I agree if you truely love someone giving up is not an option

If I'm still in love with them, I dont; not until, or unless, they can prove to me that they no longer want or need me in their life and I am convinced they no longer love me.

Do not consider myself a quitter, however when I realize I am crying, (and I do not mean tears of joy) more then I am laughing. Hurt feelings, sometimes even physical pain, contribute to the thought processes of it being a time to move on for one's own sake.

When they suddenly develop an uncontrollable urge to try to change me into somebody else....which is pretty much inevitable....

Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters

That is like stabbing the dagger into the heart of the matter. Kinda strange from my last break-up. It was all about me trying to correct the wrong assumptions about who I am. Some women get so angry from a hurt, that they would go extreme length to hold a unfavorable picture about you that it is near impossible to alter it. And if she finally does give you another chance, it is probably because she made to choice to stop hating. Unfortunatly, in my case, she decided to push me away.

That's easy, when you ask them out, and they say yes. Then they stand you up on the first date.....deffinately a give up and accept the loss there!
