...you've mey a new girl/guy and the two of you have had awesome conversations almost daily for a couple of weeks. Your getting to know each other. Several opportunities have been available for the two of you to hook up and meet and have dinner, talk, hang out what ever...the girl/guy excepts but it never happens b/c the girl/guy has an excuse for not following thru???

This screams another partner involved to me. #2 cannot come out and play with #1 because #3 is pulling the leash.

Yea, games is written all over situations like this. But you would think that by the time you reach your 30's-40's you would be all out of games to play and for sure you wouldn't have time to playing games. lol

This is a big part of the reason I put very little effort into dating, I just couldn't be bothered.

That's happened a couple of times. They're what you call "flakes" and seem to enjoy stringing you along. And who knows- they might even be a wee bit neurotic or psychotic as well (what I like to refer to as being "emotionally-interesting").

I have been getting them lately. Join the club,,, it's spring time. Take mental notes when talking and be cautious when hearing a contradiction. I'm finally getting "tuned in" at my age. Regretfully late but maybe not too late...
