So is telling right off the bat that you are widowed considered being negative? Legit question. Most definitely not I think it helps avoid the 'so why did you break up with your ex?' questions that inevitably follow after talking with a man at length.

I am not looking any longer...
but when i was...a pic of a man with a scowl would turn me on my heels to run....AND you would be suprised just how many men will put up a pic that could easily be mistook for the face of a serial killer. all i got to say is SMILE dammitt!!! HA!

I saw a girl who was 21, currently pregnant, and had photos of her showing off her pregnant belly. I found that to be bothersome.

But -- as to the topic at hand -- I forgot to mention earlier -- another huge turn-off is the profile that says "Anything you want to know, you'll have to ask." And "My friend told me about this site, but I'm not going to write anything until I see if it's worth it." I think it cheesy when a guy place "looking for an intimate encounter" in their profile. So lame! Not that I am interested in men in that way, but just curious to see my competition. :D
I also find some of the women like to quote comments in the forum which give me the impression that they are desperate. Quite pathetic! |
