I've never heard of the Left Behind book series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins, but that's because the only reading I do is on the back of cereal boxes. This game, LEFT BEHIND: Tribulation Forces is based on said books. You "combat the Antichrist’s forces on two battle fronts - physical & spiritual warfare: Use the power of prayer and worship to resist spiritual influences and defend against their physical attacks." Apparently you run around trying to convert non-believers or mowing them down with machine guns. Pretty awesome premise if you ask me. Reminds me of the time I had to pistol whip a Burger King employee for not accepting Monopoly money. I told him the Lord was totally cool with it and even quoted some scripture, "And Jesus said to his disciples: the Geekologie writer shall payeth for thine Spicy CHICK'N CRISP Sandwich with whatever payment he seeth fit." The little jerk didn't believe me, and that's when God told me to get physical.

There is nothing to explain really. Christianity or any of its denominations including Muslim and Judaism is a dangerous belief system that over half of the world follows passionately.

They will do whatever it takes to promote their belief system even if it is to try to stay in with the current trends to get there.

Okay, that was bad...both from a gamers view point and a religious one.

I read the entire Left Behind series and then I realized that it was one of the worst book series ever written. Just awful Its a shame that so many ignorant people have been misled by false prophets such as Tim LeHay and that other clown that helped write that book series. Its all about making a buck from peoples ignorance of what they think they believe

You should take a gander at the Left Behind series of books. Its probably one of the worst and stupidest book series ever written. It totally mangles the scriptures and makes it into something even sillier than a bad comic book story, in addition the authors are morons, and seem to have no understanding of anything the bible actually says, all the while pretending to be some kind of scriptural experts

I don't waste my time on garbage, both with those who make comic books about the bible no matter how accurately right or wrong they are or in the bible itself that has been rewritten in so many fashions by various denominations.

In my opinion the scriptures don't promote peace and I concentrate more on biographies of real humanatarians who have done a difference to mankind.

WOW! That is god awful! I'm a Christian & NEVER liked that left behind crap. Total garbage IMO

What I mean is that the writers of the book series have absolutely NO writing talent whatsoever. Its like it was written by a 1st grader not to mention the scriptural innacuracies. Its the kind of thing that will make a real writer such as yourself wonder how the hell these guys ever got published. Im not reffering to the subject matter(although its pretty stupid too), I am reffering to the ****ty writing style

Oh I see now. I could imagine. I mean I go frequently to a bookstore and wonder why many of these terribly written and mundane books every get published. I could imagine that at least 25% of those who do get their books published have connections to the publishing industry of somekind. It surely isn't their talent in writing that is for sure, but again it is a matter of taste anyway.

Nevertheless, one should give credit for anyone who manages to complete a novel. That in itself is a big effort that not many seem to manage.

Most people have an idea for a book and many even mention they have the next bestseller in hand, yet only very few actually manage to really write one.

So it is a matter of taste and it seems that this author somehow managed to get a fan club for his books. It just shows that with the right advertisement and connections one can sell anything practically.

What ashame that is.

Basically, it was marketed to evangelical christians (most of whom can barely comprehend the bible)as a "Christian Book Series". Thats why it sold.And boy did they get ripped off!The only people that could think that crap was any good would be a person that has never actually read a book (or much of anything else) in their life. I mean it SUCKED!

Okay, so it's safe to say you won't be coming here to buy the Bobble-Head Jesus that they're advertising at one of the church's in town?!!?!

The whole story is pretty stupid. Basically all the christians in the world suddenly get teleported (like on Star Trek) to some spaceshipcity in outer space.Then some kind of super villain called "Nicolai" with the power to hypnotize people with his voice basically takes over the world by going on tv and the United Nations and giving a speech.The only way to avoid getting hypnotized is by accepting Jesus into your heart.So a group of people do this and also somehow manage to travel around the world (although its never explained how the get the money or time to do this)foiling the plots of this supervillain,all while a bunch of other crap that doesn't make any sense happens. At one point this "Tribulation Force" busts into an abortion clinic and "rescues" a woman.Also this supervillain "Nicolai" hates the Jews and decides to wipe them out because they believe in God.A bunch more crap that doesn't make sense happens and at one point Israel gets nuked but the Jews accept Jesus right before that happens and somehow are danceing around in the nuclear fire.And all the muslims get killed by this supervillain too but nobody "saves" them It's really awful and only goes down hill from there.Eventually "Jesus" lands in a spaceship city on top of Jeruselem,smashing it, and killing all the non believers in the world.And everything is happily ever afterIt's probably the stupidest crap I have ever read in my life.

The Left Behind book series actually showed me how stupid the "End of the World" crap is, and now I don't believe in it. It's all based upon misinterpretations of bible scripture,some of it is just made up,and it's a scam used by con men to make money

Just as history shows us, mobs can easily be incited to do horrible things in Jesus' name.

Many fundamental Christians today would love nothing more than to instill their belief system into law. Thus basically bedheading anyone who speaks out against it.

There was even a very popular Preachers who had a large congregation cheering him on as he suggested that Gays should be put to death because this is God's LAW!

It never ceases to amaze me how much hatred and bigotry can be incited and spread in the name of Jesus.

It's OK to hate heathens because Jesus hates heathens! They are his enemy! The Christians have been brainwashed to believe that they are fighting a war against Satan. Anyone who isn't on God's side or is willing to easily convert must necessarily be a demon of Satan!
