it's higher here in California than all of what i have read Several of the prices (including my 3) are from California oh well, i didn't say that i read All of the prices listed here on this thread... but that wasn't my point anyway it was to encourage people to start riding bikes and not give in all the time to the greed of the oil companies we are not surgically attached to our cars...there are other alternatives for transportation |

but that wasn't my point anyway it was to encourage people to start riding bikes Good point, my bike needs some serious repair but I've been workin' on that. Hope to do a bit more today. I really miss riding |

I really miss riding Thank you for understanding... I truly believe that much can be done to lower the prices of fuel but we all need to be willing to get off our butts and walk and pedal and do whatever we can to not be so dependent on the oil companies and rally together to make vegetable oil a legal & viable fuel again and look for other alternatives too , so many other things are possible . we have already begun amazing space travel in our brilliant progression of humanity but are still using dirty polluting fossil fuel for our vehicles and wars are being fought & our Soldiers are fighting, losing limbs and dying for this old fashioned commodity |

Riding a bike most places works if you live somewhere that that is feasible. Unfortunately, I could only get to the next corn field doing that. So if I plan to work to feed my family, I guess I'll have to keep driving my car. And believe me, I'm not getting rich like Exxon is.

All winter, it's fluctuated between $1.92 and $2.15. Now, the oil price is going down, and those barstids keep raising the price of gas! It's up to $2.34 right now! Of course, we have three main gas guys in town (the Gas Mafia) who set the price for everybody. They're so far BEYOND rich already it ain't even funny, but the greedy barstids just keep wanting more and more, and God help you if independent owners defy their price! EVERY other town around mine has lower gas prices -- EVERY one!
