I made the decision about 6 years ago to not allow myself to be emotionally involved with anyone past friends and end any physical involvement when I felt myself edging toward the line emotionally.
My reasoning was that I was tired of the same things happening in every "relationship". I'm the common factor in these relationships, so it appears the problem is me. I am still trying to figure it out. If you get a note from me that's off the wall or about an odd topic, it's probably me sending out my little 'feelers' (trying to see if someone else can pick up on why I'm me). God, I ramble! My answer: I don't know and I'm waiting for someone to help me figure it all out. |
