Perhaps I have a few pet peeves...but this one is causing great
annoyance. I have some great friends here on JSH, and no worries...this
gripe is not for you.

However, gripe I must!
I have a great boyfriend and we are planning a future together. I am
sure anyone on JSH would agree it's pretty obvious we are crazy about
each other and our profiles clearly state we are taken, happy, and the
pictures show it. The reason for me to stay on a "dating site" is for
the great Ladies & Gents I call my friends.

But, I often wonder why I still get emails from interested gentlemen? I
figure they don't read profiles...right?
Well, WORSE YET...some of them know I am happly taken yet still write
flirty letters. Some say "Too bad your taken,"..."If you two break up
please consider me,"..."Does he treat you well, I could treat you
better"...etc, etc. etc.

AAARRRRGGGG!

What in the world would tempt me to want a person like this???
Don't they realize they are acting like AMBULENCE CHASING LAWYERS????
Waiting for something bad to happen so perhaps they will profit from it?
Why would I want someone who would break up a happy relationship?

GGGRRRRR!

I mean how desperate can a person be ? I just can not rationalize their
thinking and it irks me! I am glad to say NO ONE on my friends list has
done this, because they are my friends and wish me well. Also my
friends know how happy I have been since meeting Chris. So once again
my amigos...this gripe was not for you!

Just had to vent...thanks for lending me your ears!

IMHO, some people read profiles, some don't. And then there are those
who read them, but don't understand what they've read...

Katie, I get the same exact thing happening to me........"Too bad you're
taken", "Sucks for me then", "Let me know if it doesn't work
out"......Blah, Blah, Blah...........And if you look on my profile, it
states that I'm NOT single.........I may be single, but I'm not looking.
I have found someone I want to get to know better and possibly have a
future with. (Even though I haven't heard from him)...............So I
know what you're talking about. I highly doubt people read the profiles.
They just see a pretty face and automatically assume that they're on
here for dating, instead of reading between the lines.

Indeed they make a great couple....And I got dibs on a brides maid when
they finally get hitched. LMAO
