I grew up in poverty, so to determine who is spoiled who isn't, I am your man.

Try this:

1. No phone , not even landline at home
2. Never seen a microwave oven until 1992
3. All the food I ate, was hen raised at home, veggies grown in the garden, milk and beef bought from others.

4. No "central" heat or any kind of automated heat. Try coal and wood stove.
5. I wore what my brother grown out, only got new shoes or clothes when the used one was absolutely worn out.

6. a black/white TV up until about 1988
7. No car until 1985, only a small scooter and bycicle.
8. Masonry, carpentry, building things since age 11.
9. Walking 1hr to middle school, no 'schoolbus' no cars.

So if i go and start telling who is spoiled compared to me...

well,, waking up at 4 to go to the fields by 5 to beat the heat of the day, eating lunch in a garden,,, consisting of fresh tomatos and watermelon, eating canned veggies all winter to save some money, heating with wood all winter,,, and waking up at 5 and the fires out and its like 10 outside, nah i know nothing about what your talking about
