1. The internet provides an anonomous forum for people. Often people on the net are not being truthful such as with pictures, basic information or even who they are. So, some people that appear to be interested might actually be married or lying, so that is why they disappear. 2. Distance can be an issue for a lot of people. Most people are open and honest about whether or not they can be in a long distance relationship. 3. Another thing is that people cannot expect to only find someone from online. You have to diversify your dating experience such as going to different places, exploring hobbies and spending time with other friends. Friends what are those?  Just kidding darlin

What issue about Net dating most frustrates you & why? I'm just curious if other people are as tired of it as i am when you really don't get much to show for it  distance - i live in a country which is so tiny it isn't even seen on most maps of the world, i'm serious. the chances of meeting someone 1.from here 2.that i like 3.who uses mingle or any other dating site 4.who isn't a freak is extremely close to zero since with each of those qualifications the pool shrinks drastically from an already minuscule pool to begin with. since just about everybody lives abroad, and i don't do ldr thingamajiggies... this was never gonna happen even if i wanted it to. i met someone the old fashioned way anyhowzers |

it is stupid... 1st they build up expectations that are not met with reality and if you have a picture up they can find something to tell you it is fake... then I think it is mostly the game ....bait them reel them in and then cast them out.... when you are hoping for something lasting but all the while it was just a fantasy to them the whole time... there is no way they will ever except the real you

What issue about Net dating most frustrates you & why? I'm just curious if other people are as tired of it as i am when you really don't get much to show for it well...way to many to mention ...I wont' say it don't work because that is where I found Peccy...but, if I were to find myself looking again...NO WAY would I use the net...for even way more reasons I can mention. |

To me Net Dating is like flying an airplane with no windows. You have no clue whats going on for real , you have to know that the person your talking to ,might fly you into the side of a mountain.

Gee! What can I say that hasn't been said? My experience is that few are anything like what they claim. Even the ones who on paper are similar to what they wrote, in reality are nothing like the personality they portray on TV.

I spent my teen years internet dating. I was with one person for 4 years, another for 5, engaged for 1 year even to someone I never met in person. The distance is the hardest when you cannot be with the person because they are too far away. It eventually gets to the point where you can't deal with the distance anymore and you need someone close by, even if that person isn't the greatest in the world, at least they're nearby and you can touch/hold them.
