I tend to stay as politicaly neutral as possible, howver it eems that may be a necessary measure for our country

Well... by his backing completely away from renegotiating NAFTA/GATT/CAFTA (one of his most blatant campaign promises, BTW), chances are that he won't do that. At least not yet, that is.

What he WILL do is give unprecedented power in the hands of labor unions, who have essentially funded Obamammmamamaa's campaign to begin with. This is particularly true with the SEIU, which is running rampant all over the place, strong-arming states with their "card-check" nonsense.

But who knows what he'll cook up. I'm pretty certain it won't be any good, though. ohwell

You don't really have to much in the way of thinking about what he's doing, as it's truly pretty blatant- he's expanding government in ways not seen before... he's giving labor unions free will to run willy-nilly (which would be fine- just address the overt corruption present in the unions, first), and he's already talking about raising taxes while shoveling money (with NO oversight) to his buddies in Wall Street and in the banking world.

The fact he took over $150,000 in campaign contributions from AIG (just do a Google search- it's public record) was enough of a red-flag for me, as he (and several other ranking politicians in Congress) pushed through the bailing-out of the company as it stands soon afterward.

And people wonder why I consider myself a "Washingtonian"- after all, it was George Washington who (in his farewell address) called the two-party political system a "great scourge" upon the country. grumble

So what did you have for dinner, Prncs?

yeah it's different enough.. I can still open my mind to accept new things even if similar to others in some ways....

I never said I wasn't open to accepting new things even if they are similar to other things. I just said that the character and plot of "Benjamin Button" just seemed to be a wee bit TOO similar to "Forrest Gump".

Now if it's a GOOD movie you wanna see, go out and rent "Rabid Grannies"! bigsmile

Moof you are completely wrong.. Just b/c Benjamin is innocent in a Forrest Gump childlike way doesn't in any way mean the movies are similar.. Totally different concept...
